サンネス出身の2003年生まれ。幼少期からクロスカントリースキーと自転車を掛け持ちしながら競技に打ち込み、2021年のジュニア世界選手権ロードレースでは金メダルを獲得した。2022年よりヴィスマ・リースアバイクの育成組織で経験を積み、トップチームへ昇格。「パリ〜ルーベを勝つことが長期目標だ」と語る若き北方人は、春のクラシックシーンを自らの主戦場と定めている。

Per Strand Hagenes (born 10 July 2003) is a Norwegian road cyclist, who has also competed in cross-country skiing. He currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Visma–Lease a Bike. In 2021 he won a silver medal at road race of the European Junior Championships, and became World Junior Champion, winning the gold medal of the road race in Leuven, Belgium. He had already been the national junior champion in the road race twice, in 2020 and 2021, and the time trial champion in 2020.
