この選手を知る — 法廷を経てエースへの道
2000年にベルギーのジェット生まれ。2021年、チームDSMとの待遇や機材・レース選考をめぐる対立が法廷沙汰にまで発展したが、和解を経て2022年にクイックステップへ移籍した。以後はレムコ・エヴェネプールの忠実な山岳アシストとして走り、2023年にはドイツ・ツアーで総合優勝も果たした。2025年限りでエヴェネプールがチームを離れると、「花開く選手が出てくるはず——自分もその一人でありたい」と語り、チームリーダーとしての新章に臨む。
