テュルジス家は3兄弟すべてが自転車競技に進んだ一家だ。しかし兄ジミーは2020年に先天性の心疾患が発覚してプロキャリアを終え、弟タンギュも2018年にプロデビューからわずか9ヶ月で同じ病を理由に引退を余儀なくされた。唯一の現役選手として半年ごとの運動負荷試験と年1回のホルター心電図を欠かさず受けながら走り続け、2024年のツール・ド・フランス第9ステージでワールドツアー初勝利を飾った。

Anthony Turgis (born 16 May 1994) is a French professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Team TotalEnergies. Professional since 2015, he won the ninth stage of the 2024 Tour de France from a small bunch sprint. Other professional wins of his include the 2019 Grand Prix La Marseillaise, the 2015 Boucles de la Mayenne, the 2016 Classic Loire Atlantique and the 2019 Paris–Chauny.
