この選手を知る — バスクの山村が生んだパンチャー
ギプスコアの山あいの小村エスキオ＝イツァソで生まれ、幼少期からサッカー、バスケ、ペロタと何でもこなす運動少年だった。兄弟のミケルがラリーのコ・ドライバーというスピードを愛する家に育ち、自身は8歳で自転車に乗り始め、シクロクロスから競技の道へ入った。2017年にプロ入りし、アスタナ、モビスターを経て着実に実績を積み、2024年にスペイン全国選手権を制してナショナルチャンピオンに輝いた。2025年からはコフィディスで起伏の多いステージを舞台に、パンチャーとして勝負を仕掛け続けている。

Alexander Aranburu Deba (born 19 September 1995 in Ezkio-Itsaso) is a Spanish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Cofidis. He has completed the Vuelta a España three times in his career, and has twice completed the Tour de France.
